2011 marks the 60th year that dried fruit growers have volunteered their time to put on an event for all horticulturalists in the Sunraysia area. We are committed to organising a Field Day that enables farmers to:
- See the latest in tools and machinery
- Ask questions to relevant experts in a range of felds
- Do research into future acquisitions
- & Receive the benefts of socialising with other farmers
Over the past 12 months the committee has been working hard to introduce new initiatives including broad acre equipment, developing the Ladies Pavilion concept to open the event up to a wider audience. These measures will ensure that the Mildura Horticultural Field Day remains relevant, viable and maintains its role as the premier horticultural event on the Sunraysia calendar.
On behalf of the committee I would like to acknowledge those exhibitors that are returning and thank them for their continued support. I would also like to welcome any exhibitors that may be joining us for the first time. I encourage you to continue the high standard of displays that provide growers of all horticultural pursuits with new ideas and the ability to tackle any challenges that they may face in the near future.
